In Memory of Ronda Wilkins-Mitchell
Athens Technical College has graciously allowed donations to be made in memory of Ronda Wilkins-Mitchell through the Carol L. White Scholarship Fund, helping support students as they pursue their educational goals.
This opportunity allows friends, family, classmates, and community members to celebrate Ronda's life by investing in the future of others.
As we honor the one-year anniversary of Ronda's passing on April 11, 2026, those who loved her are invited to make a donation in her memory — a lasting tribute that supports students the way Ronda's determination supported herself.
✦ Donate in Ronda's Name ✦Ronda Nicole Mitchell believed in the power of education. She pursued her degree not as a formality, but as a statement — a declaration that she was capable, determined, and worthy of every opportunity that knowledge could open. In 2015, she earned her Associate of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from Athens Technical College, becoming a proud member of both the Alpha Beta Gamma International Business Honor Society and the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
She was the kind of student who made those around her better. Her curiosity was contagious, her commitment to learning ran deep, and her natural brilliance for technology — the ability to disassemble a computer and rebuild it from scratch — was something she carried long before it had a degree attached to it. STEM was not just a field of study for Ronda. It was the language her mind naturally spoke.
Honoring her memory through education means continuing what she started — creating pathways for others to walk through, just as she did.
